The BLUEPRINT to Becoming Faithfully Oneself

Welcome to Faithfully Madame where I am ready and willing to embrace being my naturally multifaceted self. I want to take a moment to show my gratitude for you choosing to join me. I am to a great extent excited to be launching my blog.

Previously, I dabbled in a soft launch to see how people would react and to test my consistency. I am quite the procrastinator. However, everything went better than expected.

The initial allure to fashion a blog was envisaged far back as my college days. Always living with this desire to be a writer and one day be published. Overwhelmed with doubt in my abilities and follow through sequentially left me stagnant for years on the idea. Now that the time has come I feel surprisingly reassured, as though this was meant for me, this is me.

How dare I allow hesitation to hinder my pursuit of happiness.

Take a chance on yourself.

I selected the title Faithfully Madame for my blog not just because it was simple and easy to brand. Deep within me was a desire to express myself creatively and there lied the need for commitment. In my mind’s eye, the most ambitious commitment is your loyalty to faith.

Now faith is synonymous with religion but faith is also all around us. It makes its way into every nook and cranny of our lives. Faith is complete trust or confidence in someone or something.

The very well known verse states “faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen”.

I am well aware of who Madame Woo is, as well as who she is becoming and I am faithfully committed to seeing her reach her promise. Whether you find yourself with me at the beginning of your commitment, not fully made it, or maybe you are well developed in it, does not matter we are all here together in self-discovery.

Make plans for your bright future.

I was born and raised Alabama. I was raised by a single mother and I happen to also be a single mother. I am a mother of 3 children, two girls, and a boy.

In 2014, I gave birth to my beautiful firstborn baby girl, Amina. Shortly after in 2015, I added two more children to my family. I gave birth to twins, a boy, and a girl, Khalilah and Keelan.

Through my eyes, motherhood is all about planting seeds, tending to them, and watching them grow, in more ways than one. The seeds grow inside of you, sprout because of you, and spread from you. This is the enriching reward of the labor of motherhood. Although being a mother is one of the many roles I play in my life, it to me is the biggest and the scope in which I see the world.

My roles to a short extent would be Mother, Entrepreneur, Woman of letters(Writer), Child of God, and Just Me. I want to combine these roles to bring to you Faithfully Madame.

The mother of all projects.

Anchored in Faithfully Oneself is this blog centered around parenting, entrepreneurship, writing, faith, and me, Madame Woo. Touching on subjects such as Advocacy, Bonding, Discipline, Passion, Purpose, Recipes, Stress, Depression, Literacy, Economics, Finance, Marketing all from my perspective.

I urge you to come take this journey with me as I discover how to manage being a single mother, budding entrepreneur, passionate writer, a faithful woman and still finding time to just be myself.

Hopefully what you read here will make you think and discover more about yourself. I believe wholeheartedly in questioning yourself and your methods, this signifies growth to me and welcomes change into your life.

Your purpose is there you just need to focus.

This week let us focus on our originality. Let us create a new vision for ourselves.

How do you envision your ideal self?

Now how can you strive to make that happen in a small way this week?

This is your call to action. Don’t just talk about it, be about it. I am ready and willing to try something new, how about you?

I have so much in store for this blog but more importantly myself and my family. Ideas are establishing themselves as you read right now. I hope to hold your attention if only for a moment and only for criticism. Have a wonderfully blessed week.

Peace is love, Madame Woo.
